The Koninklijke Metaalunie has launched a national campaign to make the metal technology sector more visible. The sector offers young people unique opportunities: technical, creative and socially relevant. With this campaign, the Metaalunie focuses on students and starters who want to discover what is possible within metal technology.
Van den Heuvel is one of the four companies that have been asked by the Metaalunie to actively participate in this campaign. For this collaboration, two videos have been made in which our colleagues show what their work involves and what role metal technology plays in practice.
Making technology visible together
With this campaign, the Metaalunie wants to show how indispensable metal technology is in daily life and in the future. We are proud to contribute to this and to put the craftsmanship of our colleagues and the strength of the sector in the spotlight.
Two videos were recorded:
– One video was filmed on location at a Sennebogen 6130 dragline crane, thanks to Roy Boerties and his machine:
In the other video you get a look behind the scenes at our company. Mechanic Wilco, King of Machines, takes you along and shows what his working day looks like.
Are you a student and do you want to discover what you can do in the world of metal technology? Watch the videos and get inspired! Who knows, you might be building the machines of tomorrow.
