VDH-MP40 CFA from Kroeze: compact and economical
Kroeze Beesd specializes in infrastructure projects, the construction of cofferdams with water-resistant layers, and concrete works. The company was founded by Max Kroeze, whose vision is to deliver high-quality projects. To meet this level of quality, investments are made in quality, technology, and collaboration with clients. Kroeze Beesd is ISO 9001 and VCA** certified and a member of the Dutch Association of Foundation Works Contractors (NVAF).
Less emissions and consumption
Since the beginning of October 2022, Kroeze Beesd is the proud owner of a new VDH-MP40 CFA. This multipurpose screw drilling machine can drill 300 to 600 mm and up to a depth of 22.5 meters. In addition, the advanced machine is designed according to the latest safety and environmental standards. This makes the work even more precise with lower emissions and fuel consumption.
Pile diameters
The machine is currently working on the Homburg project in Beesd, on the site of a former fruit growing company. As a completion of the expansion of the Homburg Beesd industrial estate, a multi-company building, consisting of offices and storage space, is being built. The project will take approximately 9 months, with completion scheduled for the end of 2023. The MP40 is being used in this project to install mortar screw piles for the foundation. The routing is important because three different pile diameters have been installed.

Positive feedback
André van ‘t Geijn, the regular operator of the MP40, has carried out several projects with the machine and has gained a good impression of it. He indicates that the accessibility, the view from the cabin and the fact that the machine is complete with generator, compressor and high-pressure sprayer make it more pleasant to work with. In short, a very satisfied operator.
André van ‘t Geijn: “I have worked on older machines before, so I had to get used to this. Now that I know the machine, it is really a fantastic machine.”
Great performance, compact machine
For Kroeze Beesd, the MP40 is the first machine they had designed and built by Van den Heuvel. The choice was based on the design and the use they had in mind. This and the combination of a good price/quality ratio were decisive.
The cooperation went well, although there are always points for improvement. Such as the communication and transport on a low-loader. Valuable feedback to take into account in a future collaboration.
With the very compact MP40, Kroeze can make 22.5 meter piles, which normally requires a larger machine. In addition, this machine is very economical with an average fuel consumption of 8 liters per hour.
